Essex County Council Procurement is providing a simpler contract process to enable smaller, more local firms to get a fair chance at providing the County Council with goods and services. The Council has invested in a new supplier portal where opportunities are posted, and is encouraging all current and potential suppliers to register. Once registered, suppliers will be automatically alerted to opportunities likely to be of interest.
