The Trial Apprentice Placement Scheme

The Trial Apprentice Placement Scheme is an ESF funded project procured and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency to support local businesses and apprentices.
The project aims to support apprentices who are being/ have been made redundant, in finding work placements that will aide them in completing their apprenticeship. It is also applicable for those on programme led provision. While the support is clearly beneficial to the learner, local employers get the opportunity to trial an apprentice for free for up to 12 weeks, with a further 14 available if they offer them a job. Local training providers get to keep their learners on programme and maintain success rates
